Acupuncture and herbs are a key component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

If this is your first time receiving acupuncture and an herbal consultation at our clinic, select this service. Each first visit with us for acupuncture and herbs lasts 2 hours (needle retention is approximately 30 minutes). If you have received acupuncture or herbs at our clinic before, please select the Acupuncture (follow up appointment) service instead, which lasts 60 minutes instead of 2 hours in length (needle retention is approximately 30 minutes).

Acupuncture is where thin needles are placed in strategic points on the body to balance the energy (or qi) of the body. Acupuncture alleviates pain, decreases stress, increases energy, balances digestion, aids sleep, and much more.

Herbs are used to prevent, treat, and reverse illness. Taking herbs 1 to 3 times daily will extend your acupuncture treatment and act as multiple treatments over a longer period of time. Chinese herbal medicine is a major part of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It has been used for centuries in China, where herbs are considered fundamental therapy for many acute and chronic conditions.

This is for your first acupuncture and herbal consult appointment only. It does not include any accessory techniques, such as cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, e-stim, etc.
